Lodging

We believe the best hosts offer our tour guests the warm welcome one enjoys when coming home. And so, we purposefully base our travelers in boutique guest houses and small B&Bs, owned and operated by local families. Included are traditional meals with our host families, so you can make authentic connections, while developing an understanding of what makes Mexican family life and hospitality so special.

In Oaxaca: Rooms will be assigned between Casa Frida and the guest houses Casas Crespo, a short five minute walk away. Offered: Rooms for couples; rooms for singles; and rooms for two singles traveling together (or who wished to be matched in a room share). See Tour Highlights for room options with pricing.

Casa Frida will serve as homebase for our breakfasts, classes, and social gatherings.

The properties are ideally located in Centro, just a ten minute walk from the historical center (Santo Domingo de Guzmán), and a fifteen minute walk to the Zócalo (Plaza de la Constitución).
